Dr. Mohamad Moussa
Dr. Moussa is a board-certified emergency physician with nearly two decades of experience delivering high-acuity care in fast-paced emergency departments. He earned his Doctor of Medicine (MD) degree in 2004 from the University of Toledo College of Medicine & Life Sciences (formerly the Medical College of Ohio) and completed his residency training in Emergency Medicine at Henry Ford Hospital in Detroit, Michigan, in 2007. Since 2007, Dr. Moussa has practiced as a board-certified emergency physician, honing expertise in rapid diagnosis, critical interventions, and managing a wide range of urgent medical conditions.
Now, Dr. Moussa is bringing his skills and experience directly to the community. He aims to provide accessible, high-quality, efficient care and to help patients receive the right level of treatment quickly and close to home.
Dr. Mohammed Albaaj
Dr. Mohammed Albaaj is a healthcare professional, community advocate, and University of Toledo alumnus dedicated to caring for people and giving back to the community he calls home. He is one of the partners behind Unity Urgent Care, Pharmacy, and Outpatient Infusion Center, where his focus is on ensuring compassionate, accessible, and patient-centered care.
Dr. Albaaj’s journey in healthcare has been shaped by experiences that fostered resilience, empathy, and a deep commitment to service. These values guide his approach to working with patients and healthcare teams, with an emphasis on treating every individual with dignity, respect, and understanding.
Through years of working closely with patients, students, and healthcare professionals, Dr. Albaaj recognized how challenging it can be to navigate a fragmented healthcare system, long waits, limited access, and care that can feel rushed or impersonal. He also identified a growing need for outpatient infusion services that are safe, welcoming, and centered around the patient experience.
These insights led him to create Unity Urgent Care, Pharmacy, and Outpatient Infusion Center as a place where urgent medical care, pharmacy services, and outpatient infusion therapy come together under one roof. The goal is simple: to provide timely support while ensuring every patient feels heard, respected, and genuinely cared for.
Deeply committed to community service, Dr. Albaaj believes healthcare should be approachable, transparent, and rooted in compassion. Giving back through accessible care, education, and outreach is central to his work and to the mission of the center.
